So, around March 2nd, late night to be exact, I got on Yahoo! Answers and found someone asking an interesting question about grants. I'm in college, and want to earn some extra cash, so I type in questions about "free money". In the answers section, someone posted info saying that grants are mostly given to the most serious inquiries, and won't be given to someone for "kickin' it money". For those of you who don't know what "GPT" means, it means "Get Paid To".
I found that disappointing (LOL), but then I continued reading, and saw something interesting. She talked about CashCrate and posted her referral link. I clicked the link, joined the site, and got $1 just for signing up!!!
Getting a dollar for signing up? Cool, I'm down!
I read alot of info from the site, and watched videos about the site and what it is I would be doing to get this "free money". Here's the scoop in a nutshell:
- You sign-up, and recieve a dollar to start you off. You fill out offers (much like you would get in a pop-up).
- Each offer you choose to fill out has a payout (the amount of money you recieve from doing an offer.
- After filling out an offer, you leave that "FINAL PAGE" screen open for a couple of minutes, go back to the CashCrate screen where the offers are listed, and you have a choice to ignore the offer, or submit it as COMPLETE. Most offers pay anything from 15 cents, to $17.00 or more!!!!
- Close the window that the FINAL PAGE words are on, and clear your browsers cookies and cache.
- If you use Internet Explorer, go to Tools, then click on where it says Internet Options. Go to an area on the box that pops up that says BROWSING HISTORY. Click on the button that says "Delete...". Check the areas that say "Cookies" and "InPrivate Filtering Data". Delete them, and click OK in the box you previously opened.
- If you use Mozilla Firefox, go to where it says Tools at the top, go to where it says Clear Private Data, check the box for Cookies, Cache, & Browsing History. Delete the data, close out of the browser, and open it back up again to do some more!
- You can delete whatever you want. Whatever works for you, do it. I only recommend deleting your browser's cookies though. Cookies are bits of information that websites leave on your computer, that lets them know that you have visited their site before. You don't want that, so you would need to delete them, which makes your approval rate higher!
- Depending on whether you did the offer correct or not, your payout of that offer goes straight to the PENDINGS section. For the month of February, I made over $105.30, and checks are sent out on the 15 of every month. Now, that doesn't mean you'll GET them on that day, the site SENDS them out that day, you'll receive your check in a few days, or in a week.
- If the company that created the offer credits you, the CashCrate site pays you! Sounds cool, right? That's not all!!! Keep reading.
- If you do a certain amount of offers, you get points! These points can be stacked up for prizes from gift cards to a PlayStation 3!!!
- You can also play games. I haven't done that yet, but it says if you play games on the site, you can cashout for prizes!
- There are so many ways to earn cash on CashCrate, it's crazy!!!! I have tried other sites, but they are so weird. CashCrate is the most popular GPT site around. They are either the 1st or 2nd site on a "top GPT sites" list.
- You also earn money from referrals (people who sign up under you). That does NOT mean that you make some of their money, they get all of their money from filling out offers. The site just gives you a little bit more as a gift for having someone sign up under you!
- There are different classes in referrals. From Bronze to Elite. Being a Silver member or higher also helps you out with the amount of extra money you get in return and pushes your date to receive checks to the 1st of every month, instead of on the 15th!!!
- It's recommended that you make several email addresses, More info about this can be downloaded below from various peeps who love to use CashCrate as well. While making these email accounts, keep in mind that you don't have to change the email address in your My Account area on CashCrate. Use the new email addresses for offers and surveys. The email address in your My Account area is for the CashCrate site to send offer confirmations, contest updates, and more! Using these new email addresses makes your approval rate go higher. Do not do every offer or survey with the same email address every time. Rotate them. Use different email addresses for different offers.
